In a recent competition prizes of £25 per photograph were offered by Ecodyfi, Mr Wil Lloyd-Williams, Councillor Ann MacGarry and Councillor Michael Williams. The calendar is on sale in the town’s shops, and has some very striking and attractive photographs; pupils from Ysgol Bro Hyddgen are very talented photographers. Around 150 photographs were received, and because of the high standard, the judges, Councillor Ann MacGarry and Councillor Michael Williams, faced a challenging task in selecting the 12 best images. Headteacher of Ysgol Bro Hyddgen, Mr Dafydd Jones said: “This collaboration between the school and the business community of Machynlleth town has resulted in a calendar of which we are truly proud. We take pride in the talents of our pupils and thank the Machynlleth Business Forum for setting this competition. There is regular collaboration between the school and the town’s businesses, and we appreciate all the support we receive as a school. Experiences like this develop skills and broaden our pupils’ horizons, and it’s pleasing to see pupils across the age range contributing to this calendar”. The calendar is on sale in the town’s shops for £2.00, and the proceeds will go to the school to cover production costs.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.7.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_team_member name=”Left to right:Hari, Ella, Celyn, Ruby, Cadi, Gabriel, Ollie” image_url=”https://www.brohyddgen.cymru/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Primary.jpg” _builder_version=”4.7.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_team_member][et_pb_team_member name=”Left to right: Enlli Phillips, Gwern Phillips, Jake Thomas” image_url=”https://www.brohyddgen.cymru/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/secondary-calen.jpg” _builder_version=”4.7.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_team_member][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Ysgol Bro Hyddgen Machynlleth Calendar 2021 In collaboration with the Machynlleth Business Forum, pupils at Ysgol Bro Hyddgen have taken photographs that reflect Machynlleth shops and local produce.
