The challenge was to present a piece of work on canvas, on the theme of history. An open theme that sparked the imagination of the pupils was ‘History’, as they presented a wide range of work from Dryweryn to Glyndwr, Cerrig yr Gorsedd to war. As a school, we are delighted to announce that Year 12 Swyn Hughes has won the competition, aged 12-17. Her work was based on a street in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Screen printing, machine embroidery and Gutta were used. Congratulations Swyn, you deserve your prize. The work will be displayed in Tabernacle until the end of the summer for everyone to enjoy

[10,13

post-3562","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-secondary-news
["GET
