Racing Buggies Workshop <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of this term\u2019s Science and Technology lessons, Helygen class participated in a workshop at Enginuity museum in Ironbridge on Tuesday 19 March.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i>This was a fantastic opportunity to use the museum\u2019s expertise and resources to develop the pupils\u2019 science, technology, literacy and numeracy skills. There was also an opportunity to visit the amazing, interactive science and engineering museum.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i>Working in groups, the pupils decided on a particular theme which fitted the brief, before designing and making their buggies.\u00a0 Racing the buggies was certainly the highlight, and impressive times were set by each one!<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i>We are very grateful to the school\u2019s PTA, who generously made a donation to help towards the costs. <\/i><\/p>\n
