We are pleased to announce that Ysgol Bro Hyddgen will be implementing the new cashless catering system.\u00a0 All students will use the cashless catering system to purchase any items from our canteen service. Our desire is to improve on the quality of the school meals\u2019 service at our school and this system will enable us to achieve this goal.<\/p>\n

Ysgol Bro Hyddgen Secondary Campus and Primary Campus will commence operating the system on Monday 13th March 2017 which means no cash will be accepted at the till points in the Canteen after this date. In this case we\u00a0remind all parents\/carers to make an online payment as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Making Payments:
\nThere are two options for making payments<\/p>\n

Online \u2013 A secure online payment service called ParentPay will be available for you to pay for schools meals.
\nParentPay offers the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, safe in the knowledge that the technology used utilises the highest internet security available.
\nYou will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password.\u00a0 If you have more than one child in this school, you can merge their accounts and create one login for all your children.
\nMaking a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date, once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.\u00a0 Please note the minimum transaction level for making a payment is \u00a310.00. The system is also able to provide you with a report detailing each item of food served, each credit made to the system, for any time period and show a current balance.
\nPlease see the letter enclosed on how to set up your account as it provides step by step instructions in order to activate your ParentPay online account including details of making online payments.<\/p>\n

Pay Point \u2013 For parents \/ carers who do not have access to the internet or do not wish to top up online you can you use any Pay Point facility within the community.\u00a0 To find your nearest Pay Point outlet please visit\u00a0https:\/\/paypoint.com\/en-gb<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 and enter your postcode.
\nFor information Pay Point Stores within the Machynlleth area are:

\n\u2022\u00a0Harry Tuffins Ltd.
\n\u2022\u00a0CoOp Store<\/p>\n

Stores that accept Pay Point can be used nationwide.
\nIn order to use the Pay Point facility you will need a card which can be ordered through the school finance office. The cost of the initial card will be paid for, however if your card is lost or damaged and a replacement card is ordered you will be expected to pay the sum of \u00a31:50 + vat.
