I can assure you the staff at the school will go out of their way to provide high quality lessons.\u00a0 We are also proud of our musical achievements and our successes at the Urdd Eisteddfod, on the playing field and in the numerous opportunities and clubs that are open to all. Particular focus is placed on developing and improving the pupils\u2019 literacy and numeracy skills. \u00a0At Ysgol Bro Hyddgen, we have been innovative in adapting \u00a0the curriculum to meet with the National Literacy &amp; Numeracy Framework requirements and we are proud to be seen to be leading the way in mid Wales in this field. What I don\u2019t like about the school is that it is very big and you have to move around each lesson. Everyone said that the teachers are nasty and the work is hard, but that is not the case. The teachers are all very kind and if you listen to them they will listen to you. Starting a new school or secondary school is very exiting.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In my first week I was not sure about meeting the head teacher at all or the other teachers to be honest, but everything was fine. The work is very challenging but manageable.
